Discipline

  1. (a) The Committee shall have the power to suspend, temporarily or indefinitely, the membership of anyone responsible for any act or conduct considered by them to be prejudicial to the affairs of the Club or to sea angling in general. The period of suspension, unless shorter, shall be limited by the date of the General Meeting. Suspended Members shall be given the opportunity to state their case to the Meeting and a decision as to their continued membership will be taken by the Club.

(b) Junior Members taking part in boat and shore outings must be accompanied

by a responsible adult.

Club Funds

  1. Club Funds will be utilised to offset Club outgoings at the discretion of the Executive Committee and will be accountable by the Treasurer at the AGM.

Trip Etiquette

4. (a) Overnight Trips

The venues will be decided by Members and numbers will be on a ‘first come' basis. However if the bare minimum is reached for these trips and an individual then pulls out after trip is booked he/she is liable for cost of full deposit unless they can find a replacement for the space they have vacated.

(b) Day Trips

As above the venues for the season will be decided by the members. Once an individual commits themselves for any day trip they are then liable for a deposit which will be set by the Committee dependant on total cost of charter (usually 50%). Deposit payments will be due one calendar month prior to trip (timescale is at Committee's discretion). As above, if an individual pulls out after their name has been added to crew list for trip, they will still be liable to pay full deposit unless they are able to find a replacement.

•  If there are still spaces available on trips when all members have been asked then any member on trip can ask a guest to fill boat up (AS LONG AS THEY LET THE SECRETARY KNOW SO TO KEEP TABS ON NUMBERS ABOARD).
